Masonboro Sound.

Just south of this condo is the marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals. A ten minute drive takes you to Downtown Wilmington. The historic riverfront downtown has brick streets, waterfront restaurants, loads of antique shops, horse-drawn carriage rides, and fantastic restaurants. Across the river is the battleship North Carolina with daily tours. Of course, there is plenty to do right at Carolina Beach with festivals throughout the year, a movie theater as well as fishing piers and the boardwalk.
