Rustic OCEANFRONT beach cottage. Catch the sea
breezes and watch the waves roll in from the front
porch of this 4 bedroom beach cottage. The
downstairs portion of this home offers 3 bedrooms,
2 small baths a kitchen and den. There is also a
small dining area. You will find color cable TV
with VCR in the den. The upstairs, which has a
separate outside entrance, has an open floor plan.
Included upstairs are a set of bunk beds and 2
full beds, a table for eating, a kitchen, full
bath and a den area. There is a color cable TV
with VCR upstairs as well. This home is perfect
for large groups and groups with children!!
This cottage is located just a few blocks from the Kure Beach Fishing Pier and Kure Beachs best restaurants. A short drive to the south end of the island is where you find the historic Fort Fisher area which is home to the new North Carolina Aquarium. If spending time at the beach is not enough, you will find plenty to do in Kure Beach and the neighboring towns!!!!!! There is much to do at Carolina Beach. A fantastic new North Carolina Aquarium is at the south end of the island next to historic Fort Fisher. Daily programs include divers who swim with sharks and rays and a touching pond for the kids. Just south of this condo is the marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals. A ten minute drive takes you to Downtown Wilmington. The historic riverfront downtown has brick streets, waterfront restaurants, loads of antique shops, horse-drawn carriage rides, and fantastic restaurants. Across the river is the battleship North Carolina with daily tours. Of course, there is plenty to do right at Carolina Beach with festivals throughout the year, a movie theater as well as fishing piers and the boardwalk.
