Whether you spend time down by the private pool or out on the beach your stay is sure to full of fun!!!!!! Do not forget to take advantage of everything Carolina Beach has to offer......a fantastic new North Carolina Aquarium is at the south end of the island next to historic Fort Fisher. Daily programs include divers who swim with sharks and rays and a touching pond for the kids. Just north of this condo is the marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals. A ten minute drive takes you to the city of Wilmington. The historic riverfront downtown has brick streets, waterfront restaurants, loads of antique shops, horse-drawn carriage rides, and fantastic restaurants. Across the river is the battleship North Carolina with daily tours. Of course, there is plenty to do right at Carolina Beach with festivals throughout the year, a movie theater, amusement park, and water slide on the island, as well as fishing piers and the boardwalk.
