Beach Dragon is the newest addition to the prestigious LaVecchia Built line of custom-built luxury vacation homes. Designed by Coastal Design of Wilmington, this oceanfront retreat boasts 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, combining elegant cottage design with modern amenities. Located just three short blocks from downtown Kure Beach, NC, Beach Dragon offers over 4,500 square feet of space, a private pool, an elevator, and upgraded furnishings to ensure a luxurious and unforgettable stay.
This stunning property features a host of amenities for comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy the private oceanfront pool, multiple outdoor dining spaces, and a fully stocked kitchen equipped with dual sinks, garbage disposals, and an array of appliances. The spacious living room provides seating for ten, a flat-screen TV with cable, and access to a large oceanfront deck. Additional conveniences include a full-size refrigerator in the garage, a water softener, and laundry facilities on the third floor.
Beach Dragon’s bedrooms are designed for relaxation and luxury. Three oceanfront master suites offer king beds, private decks, flat-screen TVs, and ensuite bathrooms with double vanities and stand-up glass showers. Additional bedrooms provide versatile sleeping arrangements, including bunk beds, queen and twin beds, and a sleeper sofa, ensuring ample room for families or groups. With thoughtful details like ceiling fans, alarm clocks, and access to outdoor spaces, every guest will feel at home in this elegant vacation sanctuary.
POOL HEATING NOTE AND LIMITS: This unit has pool heating capabilities during the months of mid-March through mid-May & Labor Day through October. Pool heating is no additional cost to guests who visit during these timeframes and the pool will be heated upon arrival, weather permitting (rain and low temperatures will impact the ability to heat the pool. The heater can only bring the pool temperature 10-15 degrees above the lowest temperature of the day).

Families can enjoy a stroll or fishing at the historic Kure Beach Pier, one of the oldest on the East Coast, or explore local history at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where kids can roam the remains of a Civil War fort. Nearby, the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher offers hands-on exhibits and fascinating marine life. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, with its beach access, fishing, and scenic trails. The Ocean Front Park & Pavilion is another great spot for families, featuring a playground, picnic areas, and regular outdoor events. Even pets can join in on the fun at the Kure Beach Dog Park. "Right on the beach a couple blocks from several restaurants and a 10 min drive to Carolina beach. Pool was great for the little kids. The location on the beach is great…not private but not super crowded. My kids loved the arcade a 6 min walk from the house (a must for a break from the sun). The house was big enough that we weren’t on top of each other. Kitchen is big enough for a large crowd worth of food."

"The only thing they need to do is update the grill outside. It hindered us from being able to cook outside and having to heat the house up with the ac not being able to keep the house at a cool comfortable temperature. That is my only negative about the whole stay."

"This house was so spacious and perfect for our group of 13. The location is great for a beach that is not crowded. The pool was awesome and so were the decks. Lots of space in the kitchen too! We had a great week and will probably book this house again next summer."

"We had a great time and loved Beach Dragon. Everyone we spoke with at Carolina Beach Realty was extremely professional and nice. The property was wonderful. After looking at many places online we chose the Beach Dragon and loved it. It is a beautiful house with great views of the ocean and the house itself has a great layout. It was perfect for our extended family to gather to celebrate my Dad and his twin brothers 70th birthday. The place was exactly what we were looking for, if not better. We loved the homes layout, but the outdoor area and pool were a huge hit. Since the weather was breezy and slightly cool (we went in April) we opted for heating the pool which turned out to be a great idea. Our kids had a blast in the pool and swam all week."
