Blueberry Bungalow is a beautifully decorated oceanfront duplex designed to be your perfect home away from home. With a wide-open floor plan connecting the kitchen, dining area, and living room, this luxury retreat is ideal for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped, making meal preparation effortless, whether you're cooking indoors or grilling outside. After dinner, unwind with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the oceanfront deck, take in the sunset, or enjoy a refreshing dip in the lighted swimming pool. Modern conveniences such as an elevator, a full-size washer and dryer, and an extra refrigerator/freezer on the ground level ensure a comfortable and stress-free stay.
This spacious five-bedroom, four-bathroom home comfortably accommodates up to 13 guests. The master suite boasts breathtaking ocean views, a private deck, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom, while additional bedrooms offer a mix of king, queen, and bunk beds to suit any group. The second-floor living room features a smart TV, board games, and access to a private covered deck with ample seating, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. As one half of a duplex, Blueberry Bungalow shares a pool and private beach access with the neighboring unit, providing direct entry to the pristine shoreline of Kure Beach. With two oceanfront decks, a street-side balcony, and a foosball table for entertainment, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The property offers parking for up to four cars, an outdoor shower, and a gas grill for easy outdoor dining. Whether you're soaking up the sun, playing in the surf, or relaxing by the pool, Blueberry Bungalow offers the ultimate beachside escape.

Conveniently located within one mile is the Kure Beach town center, the famous Kure Beach Fishing Pier, Ocean Front Park with special events all year, Jack Mackerel’s Island Seafood, Big Daddy’s Seafood Buffet, and Freddie’s Italian (since 1940). Or walk up the beach a half mile to the Tiki Bar Pier, a great beach bar on the pier with small plate seafood items. The home is within two miles of the NC State Aquarium at Fort Fisher, a civil war site, and about the same distance to the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach with live music, weekly fireworks (in season), and dozens of deep sea fishing boats, restaurants, and stores. For a change of pace, take the 30-minute car Ferry at the southern tip of the island to the charming historic town of Southport where numerous movies have been filmed.
Wilmington is a 25-minute drive away with its fantastic Riverwalk along the Cape Fear River, casual and fine dining, one of the largest historic districts in the country, and the Battleship North Carolina, open for tours.
Kure Beach is a perfect destination for family-friendly fun, offering a variety of activities and attractions. Families can enjoy a stroll or fishing at the historic Kure Beach Pier, one of the oldest on the East Coast, or explore local history at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where kids can roam the remains of a Civil War fort. Nearby, the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher offers hands-on exhibits and fascinating marine life. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, with its beach access, fishing, and scenic trails. The Ocean Front Park & Pavilion is another great spot for families, featuring a playground, picnic areas, and regular outdoor events. Even pets can join in on the fun at the Kure Beach Dog Park. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blueberry Bunglalow. Only negatives was the Master Bed/Master Bath electric kept tripping the breaker on the electrical panel. Basically had no electricity for the entire stay. Once breaker was reset, would only last about 10 minutes. We reported this and were told others have reported this issue as well."

"Everything with the house was great. Our neighbors in the duplex were considerate during the day with the use of the pool, but two nights of our four night stay, they partied loudly until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning at the pool. "

"The house was well laid out, the pool was small but was fun for the kids. The house was well furnished and the location was great. There is a lifeguard station right next to the walkway on the beach so there is a better feel of security. Everything was clean and useful."

"Excellent communication host, wonderful location - We stayed an extended weekend a group of families with small children.
Top of this is the excellent communication and planning by the host, Carolina Beach Reality! Kudos !
Secondly, the location is awesome on the beach with direct private access and a private pool! This is a million dollar property so everything in it suits it.
Good there level layout. The property is technically a townhouse so it shares the driveway and the pool with the other unit but we had no issues with it.
Our stay was awesome and we felt extraordinarily.
On the criticism side we would only mention the lack of toilet paper and other assumed to be provided, but we had a back up.
Other than that no other complaints only 5star rate about the property and the host!

"Perfect house for the family vacation!The view of the beach & ocean were amazing! Getting to see the dolphins swim by in the morning & at night topped it off. Bedrooms were perfect size especially the use of the 2nd master with the twin over full bunk with a king bed- 4 kids had that room which than left all the adults to have their own. Kitchen was great with enough counter space & having the second fridge left us with plenty of room. Pool was just perfect. Thanks for a great vacation!!!"

"For the price, the room sizes and amenities were just about right. A great location with an excellent value for the price. We were not sure if we should make the trip to the vacation rental until we had clearance that there was no hurricane damage to the property and the roads were accessible. I called early Sunday morning and left the rental office a message and got an immediate response from Jim who told me that he would swing by the property right away and check it out for himself. After 20 minutes, he texted me a short video from the property facing the beach and told all was good to go. Without his confirmation, we may have cancelled our 15-member family gathering."

"Unexpected visit to Wilmington for a life celebration and this property provided a perfect location for a couple of days. Great location with all the amenities needed for a large family gathering. Didnt realize the property was a duplex, but wasnt an issue since the other side wasnt rented during our stay. If you have the need renting both side would be good. Carolina Beach Realty awesome to work with."
