Kure Beach is a perfect destination for family-friendly fun, offering a variety of activities and attractions. Families can enjoy a stroll or fishing at the historic Kure Beach Pier, one of the oldest on the East Coast, or explore local history at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where kids can roam the remains of a Civil War fort. Nearby, the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher offers hands-on exhibits and fascinating marine life. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, with its beach access, fishing, and scenic trails. The Ocean Front Park & Pavilion is another great spot for families, featuring a playground, picnic areas, and regular outdoor events. Even pets can join in on the fun at the Kure Beach Dog Park. "First and foremost, the house is just beautiful. We arrived Tuesday, September 17, 2024, one day after Carolina Beach/Kure Beach received a terrible rain event, flooding a big portion of Carolina Beach and beach front homes. We were coming from Pennsylvania, and was aware of the storm they were receiving. My husband and I left home a day early (Sunday) and only went half way. The next day, Monday, Sept. 16, we expected to be more informed by Carolina Beach Realty. We had to make all the phone calls to them and every time we called, they weren't very informative as to whether we would have a home to rent or not. We got there around 4 PM Tuesday, and they still weren't sure. We had three more vehicles of relatives following us from PA and still weren't sure we had a place to stay. Not until after 5 PM Tuesday were we told that we would be able to stay at our rental. Like I said first off...the house is beautiful. We loved the location, the setup, the pool, etc. But even when we got there and had a few issues with getting the pool cleaned and some refrigerator issues, Carolina Beach Realty did not respond at all regarding the refrigerator but did have a pool person clean the pool and check the pump. As far as we knew, it could have been his scheduled day. The house gets a five star; the agency gets a one star for total lack of communication."

"The house was beautiful and fit our large family plus toddlers very well. There are a few small details that they could pay attention to that would really make this a 5 star visit. For instance, there are some railings on the steps that are not properly secured but rather just resting in place - my infant/toddler found that immediately. I think having at least one hand soap available upon arrival would make a big difference too. Additionally, they had numerous pans but none of them were suitable for cooking because they only have metal cooking ware. We bought our own pan. Once we bought our own things to make the house more homey, it truly was magical. Things we bought were hand soap, toilet paper, pan, wine glasses, children's plates and cups, mixer for cocktails. There were some sand toys and pool toys that were available at the house which was lovely. They could have paid more attention to leaving the pool furniture looking tidy and I'm place for the next visitor. The rooms were large and comfortable and the house was very clean."

"Hakuna Mitata - Beautiful home, great location on the beach, great pool and plenty of room for all. Enjoyed our stay. Kitchen amenities could be improved on. I understand plastic glasses outside but maybe some on the rocks, martini and more wine glasses for inside. Hotel size soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion would be nice to get started. Beach towels should be provided or alerted to bring your own.

"Wow! - This property is as advertised. Magnificent home with a private pool and a short, private boardwalk to the beach. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers, two microwaves and two empty pantries for guest use make the kitchen a dream. Three en suites (two with access to an expansive porch facing the ocean) and one Jack-and-Jill set up were great for our family. The management company was very responsive and provided ample, clear communication. The only negative is the location beside a public access. There was some noise during the first night, but that was all. Turned out not to be a big deal. Overall - just a magnificent home."

"Best vacation ever!!!! - This house is beautiful!!! It is so roomy that 18 people had no trouble being spaced out and not feeling crowded. The bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. Everything we needed was available. The location was great for us and it was easy to find plenty of great places to eat. Our youngest was 5 years old and the oldest was 85. The elevator was awesome to have to move our luggage in and out. The owners have gone above and beyond with making you feel at home. We are planning our next vacation and this is the house for us. Carolina Beach Realty gets an A+ for taking good care of us and meeting all of our needs. Wonderful place to make memories!!!! To the owners, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us."

"Family Vacation - The pictures does that do this rental justice; it is beautiful! We had plenty of room inside and the back deck looking over the pool and beach was our favorite hangout. Kitchen had everything you needed to help you cook your meals. The only complaint that I have is not having more time off to stay extra days. We didn’t want to leave! We will be returning and would highly recommend it. Also the staff at Carolina Rentals are great!"

"We come to Kure Beach every year with our family and the lay out of this house was one of the best for large meals/gatherings. The kitchen was stellar with a HUGE fridge and two drink fridges. The pool was spacious and clean and the reality company responded quickly when we needed the pump fixed. Everything was clean and there was plenty of space or multiple families to have their own rooms/bathrooms. It is right next to a public beach access point, so it does get a bit crowded at times. We ordered chair/umbrellas to be set out each morning- so we always had a beach spot with no problems."

"This is the second year in a row we have rented this beach house. It sleeps 18 people and with a large family plus friends, we are able to comfortably fit into this home. The kitchen is amazing (although you do need to bring some of your own accessories if you are a real cook). The views are incredible from both the upper and lower decks. The pool is non-operational in the winter. We will rent this home again; its now part of our family tradition."

"House was just what I expected, beautiful in every aspect. Very clean, everything worked perfect. We had a small issue with one of the smoke detectors needing a battery and we had no problem contacting the office and someone was out to repair it in a very timely manner. Highly recommend this rental."
