Enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the ocean, and throughout the day watch schools of dolphins swim by and flocks of pelicans dive for fish. Stroll out to the wide white-sand beach with direct access from the main living floor.
The house is tastefully decorated to make this your home away from home during your stay. The wide-open floor plan between the kitchen, dining area, and living room, with ample seating, allows for easy entertaining and quality family time. The well-equipped gourmet kitchen and gas grill make cooking a breeze. Afterward, relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine as the sun sets or take a dip in the lighted swimming pool. The house has a private, oceanfront pool and hot tub as well as an elevator.
Conveniently located within one mile is the Kure Beach town center, the famous Kure Beach Fishing Pier, Ocean Front Park with special events all year, Jack Mackerel’s Island Seafood, Big Daddy’s Seafood Buffet, and Freddie’s Italian (since 1940). Or walk up the beach a half mile to the Tiki Bar Pier, a great beach bar on the pier with small plate seafood items. The home is within two miles of the NC State Aquarium at Fort Fisher, a civil war site, and about the same distance to the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach with live music, weekly fireworks (in season), and dozens of deep-sea fishing boats, restaurants, and stores. For a change of pace, take the 30-minute car Ferry at the southern tip of the island to the charming historic town of Southport where numerous movies have been filmed.
Wilmington is a 25-minute drive away with its fantastic Riverwalk along the Cape Fear River, casual and fine dining, one of the largest historic districts in the country, and the Battleship North Carolina, open for tours.

"I booked Banana Cabana to take my elderly parents to Carolina Beach to visit my daughter that lives in the area. Banana Cabana had everything that we needed including an elevator and rooms suitable for everyone. The hot tub was perfect for chilly nights. We stayed during Hurricane Ian and the management company did a great job of keeping us informed. We even saw people from the office securing our house and neighbors' outdoor furniture before the storm. There were even games and puzzles that were convenient for the stormy days. The home was so well maintained by the owner and the property management company. One of our favorite places that we have stayed at in Carolina Beach! We highly recommend Banana Cabana!"

"We loved this place. We had a group of 10 and it did not feel crowded. We had fun in the pool and the hot tub. All of the linens were provided as stated and we even had a few extra. The property was very well maintained. The only very minor issues we had were the remotes did not seem to work on the ceiling fans to increase or decrease the speed. Also, could not figure out how to work the ice maker in the refrigerator. I would highly recommend this place for a wonder vacation spot and hopefully will be able to return."
