When you are hungry or thirsty, take a short stroll to Granny’s to enjoy a tasty southern breakfast or to the Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar for dinner and drinks. Uncle Vinnie’s Pizzeria and The Spot Bar are just a few blocks away. This property is located close to downtown Carolina Beach with all its amenities.
Parking for this property is on the grass behind the house. You use the driveway on the right side of the house to get to the lot at the back of the house. The parking lot to the left of the property is a public lot and requires a parking pass or pay-for parking.

"The location was great! The view of the ocean was amazing and we loved the deck on the back of the house. Amenities in the house were good, but the house itself was very dirty. The floors were covered in sand and dog hair. The top of the fridge was filthy, the furniture didn’t look or smell clean- cushions were stained. We spent the first few hours sweeping the floors and wiping things down. "

"Starfish Cottage - The location is perfect, views are amazing! The house was well stocked with everything we needed but was very, very dirty. Dog hair, sand, dust on the floors, the top of the refrigerator was filthy, the living room furniture had sand all over it. We spent the first few hours there cleaning the place."

"A beach cottage that has withstood many storms bright sunny afternoons and warm moonlit nights. There is an energy here as I watch the sun rise and set as the roar of the tide rolls on. The promise of renewal and steadfastness wraps around me like a blanket. So thankful for the times sitting in the kitchen watching the sun rise through the lovely wide kitchen window. A million dollar view all mine and the natural wind swept little bluff where I think the sand pipers are nesting quietly. The perfect easy walk to the beach every afternoon. "My first time renting a cottage for a week couldn’t have been any sweeter. The Atlantic Ocean at my door with lovely wild sea grasses waving in the breezes. "Family Vacay ‘24 - Enjoyed the “Cottage” very much !! Just wish the twin beds were seperate, but, we made do. We loved the beautiful views and the convenient location to the beach!! Loved the vintage appeal, maybe a few updates to the main bathroom is in the future??? Overall will Most definitely will be reserving the “Cottage “again . We had a great time and can’t wait to come back"

"The location of this home is wonderful. There is an amazing view of the ocean and there are lots of restaurant options nearby. That being said, this home needs some TLC. We did have a few bug spottings our first night but Carolina Beach Rental promptly sent out someone to spray the following day. There is a small parking lot tucked behind the house but you do share it with the lower unit and that could potentially be an issue with space as any more than three cars in that lot would be a squeeze. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything appeared clean."
