Conveniently located within one mile is the Kure Beach town center, the famous Kure Beach Fishing Pier, Ocean Front Park with special events all year, Jack Mackerel’s Island Seafood, Big Daddy’s Seafood Buffet, and Freddie’s Italian (since 1940). Or walk up the beach a half mile to the Tiki Bar Pier, a great beach bar on the pier with small plate seafood items. The home is within two miles of the NC State Aquarium at Fort Fisher, a civil war site, and about the same distance to the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach with live music, weekly fireworks (in season), and dozens of deep sea fishing boats, restaurants, and stores. For a change of pace, take the 30-minute car Ferry at the southern tip of the island to the charming historic town of Southport where numerous movies have been filmed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blueberry Bunglalow. Only negatives was the Master Bed/Master Bath electric kept tripping the breaker on the electrical panel. Basically had no electricity for the entire stay. Once breaker was reset, would only last about 10 minutes. We reported this and were told others have reported this issue as well.- Posted: 12/27/2024

Everything with the house was great. Our neighbors in the duplex were considerate during the day with the use of the pool, but two nights of our four night stay, they partied loudly until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning at the pool.- Posted: 9/3/2024

The house was well laid out, the pool was small but was fun for the kids. The house was well furnished and the location was great. There is a lifeguard station right next to the walkway on the beach so there is a better feel of security. Everything was clean and useful.- Posted: 8/6/2023

Excellent communication host, wonderful location
We stayed an extended weekend a group of families with small children. Top of this is the excellent communication and planning by the host, Carolina Beach Reality! Kudos ! Secondly, the location is awesome on the beach with direct private access and a private pool! This is a million dollar property so everything in it suits it. Good there level layout. The property is technically a townhouse so it shares the driveway and the pool with the other unit but we had no issues with it. Our stay was awesome and we felt extraordinarily. On the criticism side we would only mention the lack of toilet paper and other assumed to be provided, but we had a back up. Other than that no other complaints only 5star rate about the property and the host! Highly recommended!- Posted: 4/30/2023
