We enjoyed our stayed at Carolina Beach North. The location was great, many places were close by and open during the off season. Some feedback during our stay:
- House was 55 degrees upon arrival & took a few hours to warm up.
- The alarm went off. I spoke to the operator through the alarm system and we called the after hours line but no return call, got an email the next day
- An overgrown bush at the end of the driveway makes it hard to see traffic when backing out.
- You have to go through a bedroom to get to the backyard.
- Broken toilet paper holder in the master bath.
- The chairs around the kitchen island are a little too high, difficult to squeeze your legs under the counter.
- House seemed clean enough but we found another tenant’s lotion bottle on the floor of the master bedroom.
It was a good corporately managed airbnb so don’t expect personal touches. The elevator was convenient and the multiple balconies gave nice views. Thanks for a pleasant stay with our pup!- Posted: 2/25/2025

Great rental, very modern all around.
Lots of room to spread out, we'll stocked kitchen, tons of towels and blankets.
The hot tub was great, strong jets and stayed hot.

Lovely home but some areas need improvement
This home is a lovely home that you can tell was put together with care. However, the realty company needs to take more care in ensuring the cleanliness of the home. The floors were not visibly dirty but they felt sticky and our feet were dirty after a short time of walking around. The outdoor space was unkept and the plants were overgrown. The furniture outside was left in a messy state and the outdoor space was full of spiderwebs. As mentioned in other reviews, the realty company that manages this place does not provide basic toiletries that are expected at most accomodations. We had to go buy basic necessities like hand soap and dish detergent. This was not a good use of our vacation time. It would have been nice to know this before renting the place and not after. Also, the towels provided were not great. Some had stains or holes in them. They were pretty rough and considering the money charged to rent this place the realty company should take more care with what is provided and its state. The home is close to the water and the views were great. The front of the house faces the marsh and the sunsets were beautiful. There are lots of balconies and areas to hang out in. The closest beach access is closed so there is a bit of a longer walk but overall we were happy with the location.- Posted: 10/11/2024

I can’t say enough about this house. The rooftop terrace is nothing what pictures can even do justice for! So beautiful. The space in kitchen was top notch. I would give this house every star in the universe if I could. This house really is everything and more. It was even better seeing it in person. You only turn 27 once and it means the whole world to me that I got to do so in this most gorgeous house. I could not think of somewhere better. Everything about this house was beyond perfect. Whenever we needed maintenance to come (for very minor reasons) they were there lightning quick and were just as kind as they can be. Everyone we came across here was so nice and pleasant. I will definitely come back to Carolina Beach every chance I get and come back to this house every time if possible. I really could go on and on forever about how much my family and I all love this house and all the great things that are a part of it. I want to give the host and Airbnb the biggest thank you. This place was great for a family get together, even during the off-season in the winter. The hot tub and rooftop views made this trip for us. The elevator access was also great for our family for people who struggle with the many stairways in most townhomes. The proximity to the Carolina beach pier was also amazing.
The only slight issue was the proximity to a lot of loud sounds from construction and traffic making their way to freeman park nearby. Thankfully only one bedroom borders the road, the rest are quietly in the back of the home.

Place was beautiful and perfect for our group of 6. Each floor/ bedroom had it's own private balcony and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and have our own space. We were waling distance from the beach and the pier which had a bar and food. The main area was a longer walk or drive, but it kept our area more quiet and serene.- Posted: 8/22/2023

First time staying in Carolina Beach, the place was absolutely beautiful (1712 Canal Dr Unit 2). Plenty of room for a family of 8 and a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog. The beach was perfect the roof top deck was amazing to have coffee on in the morning! Island Burger and Bites had the most amazing burger we have ever had! Perfect Location. Private House at the End of the Island.
This house was wonderful for a group of 6 adults. There were three bedrooms. Each had a bathroom. The house was fully renovated, granite countertops and new appliances. Each bedroom had its own balcony. Rooftop balcony was perfect to watch the sunset. We could see the ocean from the rooftop. Parking fit about 3 cars in the driveway. The walking distance from the beach was a little farther than expected but it wasn’t an issue, 10 mins max. We loved how the house was at the end of the island. Therefore it was quiet and very private. We definitely will be staying here in the future. The boardwalk was only about an 8 minute drive.- Posted: 7/29/2023

This property was great, clean, bright and cheery. A quick walk to the beach with panoramic views of the marsh and the ocean. Everything was as described, the elevator was surprisingly useful for loading and unloading. I loved sitting out on one of the many deck spaces, they had amazing views. Holiday vacation

Our Winter Getaway!
We absolutely loved our stay! We stayed 7 nights during February. 3 adults and our dog! Overall great place to stay! A huge thing for us when staying somewhere is the comfort of the beds! These were definitely on the firm side and we brought our own pillows. Master suite was nice and great bath/shower! The yard is fenced in and private, you don’t share it with the other unit. The hot tub and grill are in the same area of the backyard and not separated. Hot tub was nice, but it did have mold growing in the stagnant water that was separated from the main tub. It did have a wide assortment of cookware, but needed to be washed again prior to use. Dishwasher did not really clean dishes, had to clean by hand, which wasn’t a huge deal for us. Elevator was a great asset! Especially with groceries and luggage. The elevator goes from the ground level (garage area), to the first floor where the bedrooms are and then to the next floor where the main living/kitchen area. Does not go to the very top floor. Only 3 actual bedrooms. I think the “4 bedroom” is the sleeper sofa on the very top floor which is like a sunroom with access to the roof. Great places to eat in Carolina Beach! Overall we absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again!- Posted: 2/21/2022
