Excellent beachfront location, incomplete listing information, room for improvement on cleanliness

Overall, this property was fairly well maintained, spacious, really well priced, and right on the beach. The view is fantastic. Unfortunately, the Vrbo listing (a Vrbo issue, not the host) was not accurate, identifying that the property was an entire home, but it is actually divided into units, which caused a lot of confusion when we got our email with check-in instructions a few days prior to check-in. We were booking this with the intention of letting our dogs enjoy some sun on the enclosed porch, only to find out after we got there that we were on the first level, which had an open porch. The cleanliness was also lacking, as there was construction debris in the yard off to the side of the house, presenting a hazard to our dogs, and there was random, old food in the kitchen and old coffee in the coffee pot when we checked in. Overall, this was a very nice rental with an unbeatable location, but needs more care in cleaning and more details in the listing as to the split nature of the house and the level that is being booked.

Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. We did experience the coldest and most snow in recent years. It was nice that we had a garage for the cars. I would recommend this place one thing the front bedroom got very warm while the ocean side was much cooler. Great views and great place.

Great Place!

Perfect location with private beach access. Very clean and well maintained. Had a slight hiccup with the door code when we arrived but the management group got it sorted out very quickly. Would defiantly stay here again!

Liked the location and right on beach. After an 8-hour drive to get to place, tried door code and didn't work. Since it was Saturday, had to call "emergency contact" and, after several calls over two hours (different operator every time), received no contact. I booked rooms in hotel and called again and told them I expected them to compensate me for my expenses. Then got a text from management company saying they hadn't received any of my five contacts and asking what code I was using. House has an outside door that opens into garage that you have to get into before you can get to your unit. They then replied that code they sent worked for unit but I needed a separate code for door into garage, which they sent. After that, everything worked fine. It was a very irritating and stressful start but lovely place with great view of ocean. Good restaurants within walking distance. Hard to believe that vital code was overlooked. Rest of trip was great. No need for further contact.

Great place to stay, right on the beach. Only downfall is we were on the bottom floor with small children on the floor above us so you could always hear them running around. Other than that, it was great!

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Oasis. It was all and more than we expected. Carolina Beach Realty was great to work with. From our arrival to our departure they were on the job with friendly and helpful assistance. We had a brief mix up on entry codes and it was handled quickly over the phone. We had made arrangements with Pleasure Island Rentals for a beach umbrella and chairs for our stay. Early each morning as we walked out the private walkway to the beach, they beckoned us to relaxing sun and shade bliss. The house accommodations were lovely, clean and very comfortable. The owners put a lot of time and thought into helping to make our time there enjoyable. From great ocean views, easy beach access, safe garage for vehicles and inside stairway entry it was a great choice for a “Cousins Get Away.” We enjoyed delicious seafood and entertainment all within walking distance. We three ole gals, who are like sisters, had fun in the Carolina Sun! Our hear felt thanks.

Our family of four really enjoyed this property. The boardwalk out to the beach very convenient and the sunrises were spectacular. The bedrooms are spacious and the living room, dining area and kitchen were all excellent. And you can’t beat the location for Carolina Beach. It was an easy walk into the main part of town, which we really enjoyed. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.
